Versace Will Design Apartments for AFI Development
OREANDA-NEWS. On 25 July 2008 was announced, that AFI Development is to get world-known Versace involved in designing the interiors of the luxury apartments included in the project Tverskaya Zastava in Moscow.
AFI Development plans to get Versace involved in the development of interior designs of the luxury apartments which are a part of Plaza 1, one of the large-scale projects included in the mixed-use complex Tverskaya Zastava, a press service of the real estate development company said.
According to it, the residential apartments with the total area of 13,000 sq m will be located on Tverskaya Zastava Square, at the intersection with 2nd Brestskaya Street, 1st Brestskaya Street and 1st Tverskaya-Yamskaya Street.
Besides the apartments, the complex will contain offices of Class A, a five-star hotel, retail outlets and parking.
According to the terms of the contract, Versace is to work out the design both for apartments and common areas in the residential complex.
“All elements of the interiors will be created in the single design concept and will have the world-known style by Versace. At the same time the project in Moscow will be the continuation of the collaboration between AFI Group and Versace – the designers have been already working on the interiors of The Clock Tower in New York that is being reconstructed by AFI Group,” the press service added.
The apartments are scheduled to be commissioned by 2011.
