Raiffeisen Bank Aval Announced Syndicated Term Loan Facility
OREANDA-NEWS. On 25 July 2008 was announced, that the Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi UFJ, Ltd. ("BTMU"), Bayerische Landesbank ("BayernLB"), HSBC Bank plc ("HSBC") and Standard Bank Plc ("Standard Bank") (the "Initial Mandated Lead Arrangers and Underwriters" and "Bookrunners") have successfully arranged an USD200 million Syndicated Term Loan Facility (the "Facility") for Open Joint Stock Company "Raiffeisen Bank Aval" ("Raiffeisen Bank Aval" or the "Borrower"). The Facility was signed on 24 July 2008.
Launched at USD100 million on 17 June 2008, the Facility was well received in the market and achieved an oversubscription of more than 100 %. As a result of this successful syndication the Borrower has elected to increase the facility amount to USD200 million.
The Facility is structured with two tranches; a 364-day tranche ("Tranche A") with a margin of 100bp per annum and a 2-year tranche ("Tranche B") with a margin of 150bp per annum.
BayernLB, BTMU, HSBC and Standard Bank acted as joint Bookrunners for the Facility. HSBC is the Documentation Agent and Standard Bank is the Facility Agent.
