SITRONICS Implements Oracle E-Business Suite in COMSTAR
OREANDA-NEWS. July 22, 2008. SITRONICS Information Technologies (till 18 June 2008 known under brand Kvazar-Micro) one of the leading system integrators working in Eastern Europe and CIS countries, declares about completion of implementation of ERP system Oracle E-Business Suite in JSC COMSTAR-UTS, (LSE: CMST), largest provider of integrated telecommunication solutions in Russia and CIS, reported the press-centre of SITRONICS.
New system embraces work of several COMSTAR-UTS divisions, including treasury, financial planning and analysis, as well as accounting departments.
One of the key tasks of the project was realization of control over expenditures and financial flow of the company. In the course of the project we have implemented procedures for control over business activity contracts, projects and creditor indebtedness, besides, we conducted replacements of morally obsolete dispersed systems with single complex Oracle E-Business Suite.
Project implementation was conducted by the specialistі of Kvazar-Micro (now SITRONICS Information Technologies) in several stages and began in autumn 2005. In the course of work they performed analysis and modernization of COMSTAR-UTS business processes, developed and implemented new procedures of accounting and control, conducted training of users. At this moment the system operates consisting of the following Oracle E-Business Suite modules: "Procurement", "Creditors", "Stock manager", "Treasury", "Projects", "Assets", "General Ledger", "Financial consolidation". It allowed to execute all functional requirements set by the customer to the ERP system.
