OREANDA-NEWS. On July 21, 2008 in Chernivtsi region President visited the construction site of Dnister River hydroelectric plant, reported the Official website www.president.gov.ua.

At the place President was informed about proceeding of construction and saw first hydro turbine of the plant on the final stage of its construction.

Speaking at the site President Yushchenko pointed to importance of appropriate and timely financing of all the stages of the construction.

He also instructed Chernivtsi Regional Administration Head Volodymyr Kulish to elaborate proposals to President’s Decree on introduction of the State Program of Dniester hydro energy system development.
