OREANDA-NEWS. On 22 July 2008 was announced, that according to Skytrax, independent London based specialist Research Advisors, Moscow International Airport Domodedovo has been named one of the best three airports of Central and Eastern Europe.

The rating is based on the annual survey among passengers conducted at airports, over the phone and on-line to reveal the customers opinion on the quality of airports’ services. For the 2008 rating 190 airports were surveyed and over eight million passengers of 97 different nationalities were interviewed.

The survey names best airports in the world as well as in the regions. In the category Best Airport: Central/Eastern Europe category Moscow International Airport Domodedovo took the third place after Vienna and Prague.
