OREANDA-NEWS. On July 17, 2008 Sorainen Vilnius office partner Renata Berzanskiene was appointed Head of the Delegation of the Lithuanian Bar Association to the Council of Bars & Law Societies of Europe (CCBE) by the Council of the Lithuanian Bar, reported the press-centre of Sorainen.

CCBE is the representative organisation of more than 700,000 European lawyers through its member bars and law societies from 31 full member countries. The main focus of organization, which was founded in 1960, is on European cross-border matters as they affect lawyers.

Sorainen partner Mrs Berzanskiene is practising law for app. 16 years and is widely regarded as a high-profile business law expert in Lithuania. On 18 April 2008 she was elected to the Council of the Lithuanian, which appointed her to act as the Head of the Delegation of the Lithuanian Bar Association to the CCBE.
