Narbutas Sets Up Largest Office Furniture Plant in Baltics
OREANDA-NEWS. On 21 July 2008 was announced, that Narbutas & Co sets up the largest office furniture plant in the Baltic States to deliver wider range of office furniture in shorter terms.
Chief Officers of Narbutas & Co UAB were happy to invite their customers to enjoy wider range of furniture and shorter terms of production of new items. The company has invested over LTL 70 mn into the plant complex.
Ukmergл was chosen to accommodate the new plant for its convenient location, well-structured communication with the largest Lithuanian cities and major roads as well as for its deep furniture manufacturing traditions.
The plant is equipped with modern cabinet furniture production line, high-standard chair production floor, state-of-art automatic cutting and painting line for metal works etc. Environment-friendly equipment ensures faster implementation and wider range of products. Output capacity is expected to increase four times eventually.
“We have been making quality work and leisure facilities for people for 17 years now, thus creating responsible business traditions”, - Petras Narbutas, Managing Director of the company said. According to P. Narbutas, company's experts tend to pay special attention to health safety and convenience when it comes to development of working sites in order to meet the newest business environment tendencies.
According to Executive Officer of Narbutas & Co Andrius Tarvydas, labour efficiency enhancement is a priority issue of the new plant in Ukmergл. Plant employees enjoy high-standard working spaces as well as exclusive leisure facilities: recreational zone with a pool, sauna and Jacuzzi. The company offers free transportation for non-residents, as well as partially covers meal expenses. The number of employees is expected to double by 2011 up from 200 now.
Being quite a young member of Ukmergл society Narbutas & Co has proved itself being a contributive one. Andrius Tarvydas, company's CEO, was happy to assert that working stations of the new plant meet all the up-to-date requirements being spacious, bright, isolated from noise and well ventilated. According to Mr. Tarvydas, working stations of the plant are arranged in such a manner where production flows perfectly agree with staff capacities.
