On July 18, 2008 Southern Telecommunications Company (“UTK”) (RTS: KUBN, KUBNP; MICEX: UTEL, UTELP; ADR OTC: STJSY, KUE FRA)], the principal fixed-line telecommunications provider for Russia’s Southern Federal District, reported that its top management met in the Krasnodar central office with  big institutional investors, such as United Capital Partners, Pioneer Investments, Pictet, BCM Partners and others. The meeting was organized together with investment company “Troyka Dialog”, reported the press-centre of UTK.

The management of the Company gave a presentation which showcased the results of UTK’s main activities in 2007 and Q1 2008, as well as its mid-term strategy. UTK CEO Alexander Andreev gave detailed answers to all questions on the Company’s financial activities and growth outlook.
