OREANDA-NEWS. July 18, 2008. Bank Electronika has taken part in the Korenskaya Exposition-2008. The event occurred in late June in Kursk Oblast. Attendees had an opportunity to hear from representatives of the Bank about the services the institution offers to individuals.

This well-known fair dates to the early 18th century and is held in Korennaya Pustyn, a wilderness area not far from the city of Kursk. At its start, the fair was timed to coincide with an annual religious procession in honor of an eminent miracle-working icon of the Virgin Mother. In those years, tens of thousands of people came to the procession and fair in Korennaya Pustyn, lending weight to Kursk’s status as “Russia’s southern trading gates.”

The fair has existed in its current composition since 2001. It is a form of calling card for the region. This bright, teeming, exciting event is organized annually by the Administration of Kursk Oblast. Representatives from trade, industrial, and service organizations from regions of Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, Kirgizia, Tajikistan, Turkey, Spain, Vietnam, Bulgaria, Poland, Germany, and Serbia were among participants in the VII Interregional Universal Wholesale-Retail Korenskaya Exposition. Guests of the exposition pavilions and city and oblast leaders were of one mind – the Korenskaya Exposition is a great chance to seek out interesting opportunities, new business partners, or much-needed services. Bank Electronika took an active part in the work of the exposition, describing its activities and services to Kursk area residents.
