OREANDA-NEWS. July 17, 2008.  Azerbaijan Electronics JSC (Azel) is ready to increase production capacity on the condition of participation in People’s Computer Programme.

Rasim Ibrahimov, an Azel board member, said that Company’s production capacity is 10,000 PCs a year.

“Azel is going to participate in the national programme on computerization of the population. If necessary we can increase our manufacturing capacity.

Volume of Azerbaijani computer market is 100,000 ready systems a year and annually the market expands by 25-30%,” Ibrahimov said.

Earlier last year Azel’s capacity on Lazer computer production reached up to 3,000 Lazer computers a year.

Azel was founded in 1991 and today is leading company at the market of computer and office equipment of Azerbaijan.
