OREANDA-NEWS. On 17 July 2008 was announced, that the summer period for power engineers is traditionally the time for active performance of repair campaign. This year IDGC of Centre  is ready to invest in repairs 1 bn 496 m 42 thousand roubles. In comparison with the last year the expenses will increase by 334 million 92 thousand roubles.

Two years IDGC of Centre has been performing the complex repair of facilities that stipulates repair, preventive maintenance, modernisation and reequipment of the whole facility, whether it is a substation, transformer centre or overhead line. Application of such method will allow to decrease considerably the expenses of material resources, increase the quality of works, optimise the use of the repair personnel. The system of complex repair has been implemented in all IDGC of Centre, JSC subsidiaries.

At modernisation of facilities of all  IDGC of Centre subsidiaries obsolete oil switches are replaced with modern vacuum switches, and at construction and reconstruction self-bearing isolated wire (SBIW) is used more and more often. Their application will allow to decrease losses and considerably  raise reliability of electric power supply of consumers. Also there is a universal introduction of vacuum reclosers. Their exclusive functionality and wide opportunities allow to operate the networks from distance, reduce time of search and localisation of the damaged sites,  optimise the work of the operative and dispatch personnel of the power supply system.

Among the largest projects of the 2008 repair campaign of subsidiaries are:

- Reconstruction of 110 kV "Roslavl", "Monastyrshina", "Gagarin", "Tumanovo" (Vyazma district), "Tyomkino", "Glinka", "Kanyutino" (Zhirovsk district)," Yartsevo-2", "Chernushki" (Smolensk district),"Krasny", "Demidov", "Diffuzion", "Kardymovo", "Elektromashiny" (Safonovo town) , "Izdeshkovo" (Safonovo district) of the Smolensk Region.  In total in 2008 IDGC of Centre plans to invest 747.69 million roubles in modernistaion of the Smolensk Region power industry.

-   In the Kostroma Region the main part of repair funds will be spent for restoration of the municipal networks. All of them  have high degree of deterioration. In 2008 it is planned to perform modernisation of  39.2 km of 0.4. kV overhead lines and 14.5 km of 10 kV overhead lines and replace the wire and supports.  SIP 2 self-bearing isolated wire will be used in the reconstruction.

-   In "Lipetskenergo", an IDGC of Centre, JSC subsidiary, it is planned within 2008 to  repair 21 substation, 288.3 km of  35Ї110 kV overhead lines, and 1,030.8 km of 10Ї0.4 overhead lines. IDGC of Centre, JSC will invest 454.95 million roubles in technical reequipment.  In the Lipetsk Region a special attention is also given to the repair of ownerless networks accepted on "Lipetskenergo" balance.

-  "Voronezhenergo"  in 2008 will direct on performance of the repair program around 100 million roubles. This year "Voronezhenergo, an IDGC of Centre subsidiary, will give a great attention to clearing of glades Ї  one of the main actions directed at increase of reliability of the electric power supply of consumers. As to reconstruction and technological reequipment, the company will invest  above 300 million roubles in these projects . One of the largest projects is reconstruction of the city substation during which the substaion will be change the voltage to 110/6-6 kV, installation of two transformers with a capacity of 63 MVA and construction of 110 kV high-voltage cable lines. The substation will meet all  modern requirements in power and will allow to raise reliability of Voronezh power supply.

- In "Bryanskenergo" repair works are performed with  application of diagnostic of  thermal control and complex inspection of the equipment. Such pilot survey allows to decrease expenses considerably. Also for the present time in "Bryanskenergo", as well as in all subsidiaries of  IDGC of Centre, technical audit and certification of  the equipment state with the help of TORO system on the basis of SAP/R3 programme is booked. This is made in order to prolong tje term of useful use of the equipment and definition of the needs of its partial or full reconstruction. Global projects of reconstruction, repairs and technical reequipment in the Bryansk Region are: reconstruction of "Zarechnaya" and "Fokinskaya" substations in the total amount of 177 million 50 thousand roubles. This year IDGC of Centre already spent 26 million 704 thousand roubles on reconstruction of the networks that had become its property.

- Acquisition and installation of equipment under the leasing programme became a distinctive feature of the repair campaign in "Orelenergo". The total sum of these expenses will equal 104.4 million roubles.

- "Tverenergo" successfully started to  establish and be apply vacuum reclosers; this allowed to raise reliability of electric power supply considerably. They allow to automate process of search and localisation of damages,  reduce the number of emergency switching-off, perform automatic input of reservation.Besides reclosers possess unique qualities, e.x. no need of service, integration of the dispatch management system, multifunctionality of  relay protection and automatics. By the beginning of 2008 powermen installed at "Tverenergo" power facilities 11 vacuum reclosers. Till 2010 in "Tverenergo", an IDGC of Centre, JSC subsidiary, it is planned to establish 17 more reclosers.

- The most important stages in the performance of works under the programme of repairs, technical reequipment and reconstruction of "Tambovenergo", an IDGC of Centre, JSC subsidiary, in the current year will be construction and reconstruction of electric power transmissions lines 119 km long, prospective expenses on which will equal 116 million roubles. Replacement at substation No 2 in Tambov of T-1 power transformer with a capacity of 16 MVa by 40 MVA power transformer, in connection with deficiency of capacity for connection of new consumers of Tambov and increase of reliability of power supply. Expenses for reconstruction of 110/35/6 kV substation No 2 will presumably equal 75.8 million roubles.
