OREANDA-NEWS. July 15, 2008. For the first time in this year, at the aeroshow in Farnborough, VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation will demonstrate its titanium die forging (Truck Beam) for Boeing 787 with semi finished machining, reported the press-centre of VSMPO-AVISMA.

Two years ago, at the same aeroshow, VSMPO-AVISMA showed such parts with rough machining.

On the stand of the Corporation there will be titanium products for airliners Boeing 737, Boeing 777, European giant airliner A380 .

Also for the first time in this year, at the aeroshow ASMPO-AVISMA will demonstrate titanium mill products not for planemakers, but for Formula1.

Corporation representatives are planning meeting with customers, discussing long-term agreements, working out strategic initiatives, further observation of the situation in the world titanium market and, in particular,of development of titanium application in aviation.
The Corporation will visit the 46th International Aeroshow in Farnborough, which was established 60 years ago, for the 8th time.

Director General Vladislav Tetyukhin will be the head of the VSMPO-AVISMA delegation, consisting of 26 persons.

Exposition of VSMPO-AVISMA will be in Hall 3, stand D17.
