OREANDA-NEWS. On July 10 2008 WGC-3 Board of Directors has appointed Andrei Bougrov (Managing Director of CJSC Interros Holding Company) to be its Chairman. Andrei Bougrov was elected as a Chairman of WGC-3 for the first time in 2007, reported the press-centre of WGC-3.

Andrei Bougrov was born on June 27, 1952.

Graduated from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations. His major area of specialization was international economic relations. Completed the Executive Development Programme at the Harvard Business School (USA). PhD in international economics. Before joining Interros, worked at the USSR Permanent Mission to the UN, in the Department of International Economic Relations of the USSR Ministry for Foreign Affairs, EBRD, was Executive Director of the World Bank Group for the Russian Federation, Dean of the Board of Directors of the World Bank.

Joined Interros company in 2002.

Currently Chairman of the Board of Directors of Prof-Media Publishing House, OGK Company; member of the Boards of Rosbank, MMC Norilsk Nickel, RAO UES and TGK-1.

Since 2002 - member of the Board of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry; member of the Council on Foreign and Defense Policy.

Member of the board of "The Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (Employers)".
