OREANDA-NEWS. July 16, 2008. Position of Director for Regional Branch of SO UES took Eduard Gennadievich Galeyev, former First Deputy Director - Chief Dispatcher of RDU of Tatarstan. He was born in 1967, graduated from Kazan Branch of MEI, in Tatarstan power system has worked since 1992, from position of engineer of ETL KCHP-1 till Chief Dispatcher of Regional Dispatch Office and was awarded many prizes.

The new branch SO UES in Tatarstan, founded on base of RDU "Tatenergo", started working since 1 July of current year. New structure has to meet the requirements of Federal law "Оn Electrical Power Engineering", completing founding the centralized and independent system of operative-dispatch control over Unified Energy System of Russia and enhance the reliable control over technological regimes of operation of power entities and energy accepting installations of consumers of electricity on territory of RT. Basic task of dispatchers of Tatarstan will be reliable and nonstop power supply to population and industrial companies of Republic

Yuri Vladimirovich Schelokov, who assigned management over power regime of Unified Energy System of Russia on territory of RT, took another responsible position – Deputy General Director of JSC "Generation Company" for wholesale electricity market.

As part of changing the dispatch control by power industry of Tatarstan and transition to agreement relations between "SO UES" and JSC "Generation Company" in area of services rendering for operative-dispatch control he will remain on key positions in providing the efficient and cost-effective operation of Tatarstan power plants under rigid market conditions.

In reforming the industry the highest competence and big expertise of technical manager of Republican owe system who for many years was the chief engineer of "Tatenergo", find application in complex dimensions of Tatarstan power industry. In the last years Yuri Schelokov as Director of Regional dispatch office of "Tatenergo" was responsible for utilization of the most optimal regimes of work of plants and grids, providing the nonstop energy supply to consumers and rational loading of facilities and reduction of fuel consumption with strict meeting consumption regimes and operation on electricity market.

Other are of activity of deputy head of Tatarstan power holding was directly related to reforming the housing –utility area of Republic. Yuri Vladimirovich conducted complex work of technical upgrading and financial recovery of municipal heat transporting structures of towns of Tatarstan providing their stable operation in heating season and successful integration of big and small power industry.

High professionalism of Yuri Vladimirovich was appreciated in the country and Republic. He was awarded titles "Honored Staff of Fuel –Power Complex of Russian Federation", "Honored Power Engineer of Republic of Tatarstan ", "Engineer of 2002" for results in All-Russia professional competition, "Manager of 2005" for results in Republican competition. In 2008 as Director of JSC "RDU Tatenergo" Yuri Schelokov was named the Best manager of Russia and awarded national prize in management. Yuri Vladimirovich was the only representative in power industry among the sixty bets mangers of country.
