OREANDA-NEWS. On July 14, 2008 The State Statistics Committee of Ukraine increased its estimate for GDP growth from 6% to 6,5% in January-March 2008 year-over-year.

In April 2008, the International Monetary Fund improved forecast for Ukraine's GDP growth from 5,4% to 5,6% and worsened inflation forecast from 10,6% to 17,1% (December to December).
