OREANDA-NEWS. July 14, 2008. As stated I.O. Schegolev, Minister of Mass Communication and Mass Media of RF аt the meeting of FSUE Russian Post’s Administrative Board on the eve of the Day of Russian Post, reported the press-centre of Russian Post.

In his congratulation to postal employees the Minister emphasized high social importance of postal services, respective people’s attitude to the profession "postman" and expressed his special honor to the workers in rural settlements. "For the majority of people in rural areas postman represents not only the link with outside world, but he is also friend and help", noted I.O. Schegolev.

In his speech A.I. Kazmin, FSUE Russian Post General Director thanked the employees of the enterprise for work and expressed his sure of achievements of all goals. "Much has to be done to overcome difficult financial situation. We need general result purpose and employees strong motivation. But I’m sure that Post can overcome problems and develop further", noted A.I. Kazmin.

In conclusion of the event I.O. Schegolev, Minister of Mass Communication and Mass Media, V.N. Bugaenko, Head of the Federal Communication Agency and A.I. Kazmin, General Director of Russian Post gave the workers of the enterprise the titles Master of Communication, diplomas and other corporative awards.

The holiday celebrations and awarding ceremonies devoted to the Day of Russian Post are held in all Russian Post’s branch offices on the eve of the holiday.
