OREANDA-NEWS. July 14, 2008. The Agreement was signed by A.I. Kazmin, General Director of FSUE Russian Post and O.P. Korolev, Head of the Administration of Lipetsk region, reported the press-centre of Russian Post.

The Agreement sets the core trends of efficient cooperation in postal industry development in Lipetsk region.

The Agreement aims to improve postal service quality in Lipetsk region. Post and regional administration will jointly solve problems connected with modernization of postal infrastructure and enhancement of new technology implementation.

To reach the goals the enterprise supposes development of the joint programs, establishment of temporary working groups of the representatives of Russian Post and Administration of Lipetsk region.

Solemn ceremony of post office opening in international airport in Lipetsk came before the signing the contract. In the course of the working meeting of A.I. Kazmin and O.P. Korolev held before, they discussed the main questions of cooperation.

Russian Post’s branch office in Lipetsk offers wide range of services: collection and delivery of letter correspondence and parcels, collection of utilities payments and electronic money orders, delivery and payment of pensions and allowances, delivery of express mail, subscription editions and other. The affiliated branch consists of 13 general post offices, 523 post offices, 428 of them are situated in rural area. Postal services are granted in all settlements in the region. The affiliated branch employs 4,151 workers.

FSUE Russian Post pays much attention to cooperation with regional authorities regulated by the Agreements of Cooperation.

Presently, Russian Post signed 61 agreements with the administrations of the regions.
