On 14 July 2008 was announced, that for the week of July 7th – July 11th, 2008 the total trading volume on FORTS (Futures & Options on RTS) equaled 301,8 bln. roubles or 5,5 mln. contracts, including 38,7 bln. roubles during the evening trading session. The total open interest as of the last day of the week, July 11th, 2008 reached 300,2 bln. roubles or 8,0 mln. contracts.
