OREANDA-NEWS. July 15, 2008. In January-June, 2008, the port of Murmansk handled 12.218.3 million tonnes of cargo (-3.5%, year-on-year), the port informs. In the reported period, transshipment of oil cargo fell by 30.2%, y-o-y, to 3.433.2 mln tonnes, coal and other dry cargo – 8.785.1 mln tonnes (+13.4%, y-o-y).

Cargo turnover of Murmansk Commercial Seaport OJSC amounted to 7.011.1 million tonnes (+2.3%, y-o-y). Cargo turnover Tangra Oil LLC amounted to 66,700 tonnes (-28.2%, y-o-y). Transshipment of cargo via First Murmansk Terminal LLC totaled 302,200 tonnes (-41.8%).
