OREANDA-NEWS. July 14, 2008. Visit by President began from review of one of the most modern factories in Russia, "Eltehnika– Volga, Ltd" – modern company "INVENT" and JSC "PO Eltehnika" (St. Petersburg) for production of USG (Unit switchgears), namely the cells of KSO "Avrora" for 6 and 10 kV. The company was founded in May 2007. Production of KSO "Avrora" is the first stage in operation of " Eltehnika – Volga, Ltd", second stage will be opening of line for production of low voltage unit sets NKU "Neva" at the next year start.

KSO "Avrora" is a series of modular cells in metal casings with aerila insulation. In cells of KSO "Avrora" are installed stationary protruding power switches, aerial circuit breakers and load switches, measuring current transformers. Cells KSO-6(10)-Э1 "Avrora" are designed for switchgears of voltage 6 and 10 kV three- AC of frequency 50 Hz in grids with insulated grounded neutral. During the visit the site Mintimer Sharipovich got interested in details of production.

Later President visited workshops of one of the general contractors of JSC "Tatenergo" for repair, reconstruction and capital constriction of thermal networks - "Тatteploizolyatsia, Ltd". Factory produces pipes in foam polyurethane insulation ("pipe in pipe") per Finnish technology sizing 125mm through 1200 mm. Theses pipes are used for laying the trunk and distribution thermal grids, and for gas and oil transportation. For reduction of losses of heat during its transporting it is planned to use pipes with foam polyurethane insulation and in polyethylene coating. The head of Republic was happy to note that orders for products come from each corner of country. "I never seen nothing like this", - told Mintimer Sharipovich about the factory, assessing it "as the most modern and highly technological".

Group of companies "INVENT" is a vertically integrated structure- core of power cluster including production, realization and servicing that allow to supply the power and other companies of Republic of Tatarstan and Russian Federation with required products and services. It was founded on base of capacities of entities in "INEKO" (Investment Energy Company) in February 2008. The entities of the group are located on territory of Republic of Tatarstan – Techno- police "INVENT", factories at .Kazan, Zainsk, Naberezhnye Chelny, and v. Urussu. Тrade houses "INVENT" provide the sale of products in towns of Republic of Tatarstan and Russia, which promotes extension of geography of supplies. To date the Тrade houses work in Kazan, Moscow, Sochi, Krasnodar, Ufa.

To date in the companies of group of companies "INVENT" have been invested over 2, 700 m. rubles. Earnings from "INVENT" in 2008 will be 13,4 billion rubles. Average payroll staff of entities of "INVENT" is 2, 538 units. Average salary in group in 2008 is expected as 18, 883 rubles.

Today on new operations of "INVENT" work over 1,500 young specialists – graduates from Kazan Universities (KSU, KSTU, KGASU etc.). These are specialists of engineering professions, electricians, relay people, adjusters, designers, technologists, operators, lab staff etc. The staff is still hired. It is planed to increase the staff number working at new operations at least twice.

Mintimer Shaimiev was presented one more investment project "INVENT" – factory "Tatkabel". On area of 19 sq. m. Will be located operations for producing self-bearing insulated cables of voltage up to 35 kV, cables of voltage up to 6 kV – both armored and bare in fire-proof three –five conductor design and power cables of voltage 10-220 kV of cross-section up to 2 ,000 sq.mm. Project capacity of factory is 1, 500 t/mnth with regard to copper, 1, 000 t/mnth for aluminum. Full investments from "INVENT" will be 1,804 m. rubles. Production sites of the cable factory are also located on site of group of companies "INVENT" in settlement Stolbishche.

Mintimer Sharipovich assessed what he had seen and declared: "Power Engineering Industry needs facilities meeting the time requirements. We today seen the entities producing such equipment. Рmanagement of Republic will assist with their development", - he said.

Afterwards with participation of President of Republic Mintimer Shaimiev аnd General Director of Schneider Electric Henri Lackmann was held presentation of factory of Schneider Electric. The factory at Kazan will be the fourth factory of the company in Russia. It will make switchgears of low and mid voltage for meeting the growing demand at Republic of Tatarstan, аnd other regions of Russia. Prospective customers of products are the entities of JSC "Tatenergo", JSC "Tatneft", JSC "Nizhnekamskneftehim", JSC "Kazanorgsintez", аnd Nizhnekamsk NPZ under construction.

Production areas of the new factory (about 8,000 sq.m) are located on territory of prestigious logistic complex Q-Park near airport Kazan. New facilities would allow to produce in the first year about 1,000 cells SM6. Plans for 2009 include increase of production capacity of the factory by 20%. Production of cells Nexima and OKKEN is planned for 2009. Full projected capacity is about 5,000 cells per year.

In the first year in production will be used 80 hi skill staff, in 2009 – 150, аnd by 2010 – over 210 staff. In April 2008 the first group as trained at France. Investments by Schneider Electric in 1 turn of project constitute over EURO 5 million. "After studying the economical world of Russia we concentrated on Tatarstan chаnces. This says of big potential of Republic", - said General Director оf Schneider Electric Henri Lackmann at the opening the factory. The President of Tatarstan sаid: "Such company as Schneider Electric cannot be with failure. This is a successful company and its working in Republic is the base for further development of our economy".
