Founding on base of KSPEU the unique training center for training the specialists in power engineering of entire Volga –Ural region started in May 2006 by initiative of JSC "Tatenergo" together with French company in development and production of switchgear and automatics facilities "Schneider Electric". Top managers cut the symbolic tape at the entrance to training center.

"We are responsible for the young generation for transfer to them our knowledge and skills. It was one of priorities of "Schneider Electric". The solution was made to found the training center in Tatarstan as your Republic owns unique natural and human resources", - said the General Director of "Schneider Electric" Henri Lackmann.

With guidance words they were addressed by General Director of "Tatenergo" holding Ilshat Fardiev. "Together we organized really best in Russia training center "Schneider Electric", and fine conditions for acquiring knowledge. We have just to train!", - said Ilshat Shaehovich.

Managers of companies and guests toured around the center and familiarized with its up-to-date equipment. At the end of ceremony rector and directors of "Schneider Electric" signed agreement detailing the financial responsibility of university and company and also were awarded 6 scholarships "Schneider Electric" to best university students.

The training center will prepare specialists using the equipment produced by Russian firms and corporation "Schneider Electric". Today the training center "Schneider Electric" is ready to start training specialists in three professions for efficient operation of latest equipment at industrial and power companies for relay protection, technological data transfer an dispatch control; electricity distribution as well as frequency adjusted electrical drives.
