OREANDA-NEWS. On 14 July 2008 was announced, that Uralkali has summarized the results of the operational activity for June, 2008 and for 6 months of 2008. Since the beginning of the year the Company has been demonstrating a positive trend of production development.

In June 2008, Uralkali produced 462.7 thousand tonnes of potassium chloride, which is 7.7% more than in June 2007 (429.6 thousand tones). During the first 6 months of 2008 the Company has produced 2 658.4 thousand tones of potassium chloride – 5.3% more than in January-June 2007 (2 525.4 thousand tones).
