OREANDA-NEWS. On 14 July 2008 was announced, that еhe winners of the contest "Russia –my motherland" have got from JSC Far Eastern Energy Company as prizes the tickets for a group tour round "Golden ring" of Russia .

The contest of the compositions on the patriotic topic is held among the school children of the secondary schools all round Primorsky region by the initiative of the Deputy of the State Duma Vasily USOLTSEV and under support of the All-Russia Political Party Edinaya Rossiya (VPP Edinaya Rossiya) and Molodaya Gvardiya of Edinaya Rossia. Thirty eight schoolchildren from all the regions of Primorye and the city of Vladivostok became the winners of the contest. The support in purchasing the prizes for the winners – one -week tour round the cities of the “Golden ring” – has been rendered by JSC FEEC. On 3 July, in the honorary environment the children were awarded with the tickets for the tour.

"What impressed us most of all is that in the compositions sent by the children for the contest very topical and actual issues have been raised. In spite of the young age the participants not only showed the perfect knowledge of history of their state but have touched upon some serious problems of the modern Russia. More over they have offered their variants of these problems solutions. It's vivid from the compositions that the persons who wrote them are indeed not indifferent to their motherland and are ready to actively participate in its life. We are sure that this trip will be for the children not only perfect rest but will also give an opportunity to learn more about their Motherland, to learn the history and culture of Russia,"- noted during the ceremony of awarding the Member of the Board, Director for informational strategy of JSC FEEC Olesya SHAKLEINA.

In his turn the Member of the Presidium of the regional Political council (Politsovet) of All-Russia Political Party Edinaya Rossiya Mikhail VESELOV thanked the energy specialists for support in making arrangements for the contest and expressed hope for further cooperation in social projects for children and youth implementation.

Today the children, accompanied by the tour leaders and camera crew of Primorsky television have left for Moscow from where their trip will start. Within 7 days they will visit 9 cities the "Golden ring".
