OREANDA-NEWS. On 14 July 2008 was announced, that Express Retail is to invest \\$30 million in the creation of 55 new stores called Perekryostok-Ekspress in Moscow and the Moscow region by the end of 2008.

“The first 19 stores are to open in August 2008,” said Valery Tarakanov Valery Tarakanov, co-owner of Express Retail. Mr Tarakanov also noted that the new stores would be created on the base of the retail network Daily that was purchased in April 2008.

Express Retail was to launch a new franchising program in 2008. According to the program, the company will issue the special deductibles, the owners of which don’t have to pay an initial instalment and royalty but their income is limited by the fixed percentage of a gross margin of the store.

“The company estimates that an average index of the store will be 23 per cent, 16-18 per cent of which will be given to a partner. If the conditional gain of a Perekryostok-Ekspress store is \\$200,000 per month, its franchisee will be able to get \\$32,000-36,000 which are as well to be spent for rental payment and salaries,” the edition specified.
