OREANDA-NEWS. On 14 July 2008 was announced, that Vice President of Renova Group of Companies Rinat Khalikov, IES-Holding President Mikhail Slobodin and General Director of OJSC TGC-6 Vyacheslav Kramarenko met ith the leaders of the Penza Region. The Region Governor Vasily Bochkarev held a meeting, which, besides the representatives of Renova Group of Companies and IES-Holding, was attended by First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Penza Region, Head of Penza Administration and executives of Penza energy companies. The meeting covered in particular issues of improvement of operations of Territorial Generating Company No. 6 and preparations of the heating networks for the winter period.

Mikhail Slobodin informed the Penza regional authorities of IES-Holding's new business model, which will enable the company to increase the efficiency of management of its strategic power engineering assets. Implementation of the new model encompasses establishment of a number of divisions by business directions, namely: generation, trading, retail and development. Thus, based on OJSC TGC-6, a division of Upper Volga Generation is being formed to include, inter alia, the heat power plants operating in the Penza region. 

During Mikhail Slobodin's visit to the Penza Region, it was agreed that an agreement on mutual cooperation between IES-Holding and the Penza Region would be prepared to be signed by August, 2008.
