Thai Partners Satisfied with Quality of PAVA Flour
OREANDA-NEWS. On 14 July 2008 was announced, that the largest grain-processor of Siberia and the Far East OJSC PAVA successfully performed its first shipment of flour to Thailand. The Thai partners were satisfied both with the quality of the shipped products and the arrangement of its delivery, therefore expressed their willingness to maintain collaboration with the Altay grain processor PAVA in the future.
To recap, the shipment was made through the sea port of Novorossiysk. Establishing business contacts with the second consecutive Russian port, after St. Petersburg, PAVA became the first grain-processing company in the Altay Territory that ships flour to foreign countries by sea route.
This shipment was considered complicated, first of all, because of the necessity to transfer PAVA products from railway cars to containers of the cargo ship. At this stage there is a likelihood of damaging the package, goods deterioration or exceeding the allowable humidity level. But these risks were avoided due to the co-ordinated and prompt efforts by the specialists’ team of a large Novorossiysk forwarding agent that the Altay grain processor chose to supervise the dispatch. The transfer was performed promptly and effectively. Besides, the PAVA company endeavoured to increase the package durability by using special polypropylene sacks, which have repeatedly proved their reliability during shipments to Afghanistan, Mongolia, Kenya and other countries.
PAVA flour spent over 30 days on the sea route. When containers were opened in Thailand, the receiving party didn’t detect any torn or wetted packages. The cargo was delivered in a perfect condition.
