OREANDA-NEWS. On 11 July 2008 was announced, that Kazakhstan prepared an accurate response to the consequences of the world crisis, Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayevs said.

In terms of unsteadiness of the world financial markets Kazakhstan demonstrates self-confidence. We kept stability of economic growth having corrected its ratesФ, Kazakh President Nazarbayev said at a celebratory meeting devoted to the Astana’s 10th anniversary.

He noted that over KZT 70 bln was allocated to the economy diversification, infrastructure development in 2008.

N. Nazarbayev called the problem of participatory construction as one of the most serious social problems for the previous months. Today we have almost solved this problem. Necessary means from the republican budget  KZT 130 bln  will ensure rebirth of the construction branch, and all the participants will get their housesФ, he stressed.

Besides, KZT 110 bln will be given to the development of small and medium business in Kazakhstan. KZT 50 bln more in the form of financial support.

The whole world suffers from the food crisis consequences. But Kazakhstan provides itself with food and exports it as well, Mr. Nazarbayev noted.
