OREANDA-NEWS. On 11 July 2008 was announced, that the RTM Group has started installing engineered systems at the site of the Shopping and Entertainment Center on Ulitsa Tereshkovoy in Lipetsk. The future SEC will be Lipetsk’s first and largest shopping center of its kind.

Construction of the shopping and entertainment center got underway in May of last year with Jenk Inshaat Sanaji ve Tagaret Limited Shirketi acting as the general contractor. The 1.4-hectare construction site is situated at the intersection of Ulitsa Tereshkovoy and Ulitsa Tsialkovskogo, a neighborhood in the city’s main residential area which is home to 70 per cent of Lipetsk’s residents. The gross area of the future SEC is going to be 48,880 sq. m with 26,713 sq. m of leasable area. In addition to the shopping mall and the cinema multiplex, the center will feature an entertainment zone, a food court, and a children’s playroom.

“Construction of the center is on schedule“ notes General Director of JSC RTM Development Vladimir Kireenko. “The contractor has finished exterior concrete masonry and is in the process of beginning to install all engineered systems and to do the interior finishing“.

At present, the occupancy rate of the future center on Ulitsa Tereshkovoy is 65 per cent. Prelease agreements have already been signed with the food hypermarket MOSMART, electronics hypermarket Technosila, sporting goods store SportMaster, and a family entertainment center “Planeta Razvlecheniy".
