OREANDA-NEWS. July 09, 2008. The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) recognized validity of the actions undertaken by the Federal Migration Service (the Ordering Party) in an open auction for supplying clothing and stores for its own needs, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

The case against the Federal Migration Service was initiated upon a complaint of "YUDINO" Manufacturing and Trading Firm" Ltd.

According to the Petitioner, the Ordering Party wrongly refused to accept the bid because the Petitioner had presented a single (joint) bid for several auction lots. FAS Russia, however, disagreed with the Petitioner's arguments on the grounds that submitting a single bid for several lots had violated Part 2.1 Article 10 and Part 5 Article 35 of the Federal Law "On State and Municipal Procurement of Goods, Works and Services".

Therefore, the complaint of "YUDINO" Manufacturing and Trading Firm" Ltd. was found unjustified.
