Empils Outlined Its Corporate Values
OREANDA-NEWS. July 10, 2008. Gorod N, Rostov business newspaper, has made the issuing by Empils of a series of propaganda posters, intended for personnel of the company, a cover story of its issue. They illustrate the fundamental corporate rules: not to be late, not to be lazy, not to steal, fight against smoking, observe cleanliness, not to drink to excess, show respect for colleagues, make quality work and help young people.
According to the management of Empils, it is possible to achieve good results in business only if the team members have common positions and observe uniform corporate rules. The top-managers of the company formulated 10 most vital topics, the texts for posters were written by one of the Concern's senior officers. A designer from Rostov-on-Don, cooperating with the company for a long time, worked on visual representation.
When creating the makeup pages it was necessary to convey corporate spirit, on the one hand, and to create a remembered graphic image, on the other, associated with an employee of the company. It was decided to depict only a dark silhouette of a person on the posters with negative characters, having emphasized, that there is no place for such workers at the enterprise.
— They are important for creation of non-belligerent relations inside the company and promote successful self-realization of employees, — assumes Gennady Gordeev, Empils' PR Director. Those are matters of ethics (show respect for colleagues), discipline (don't be late, observe cleanliness), professional attitude (help the colleague), and team work (help young, no substandard production).
The printed posters have been sent to each division of the company. — The posters are addressed to all Empils' employees — both to the workers, and to "white-collar workers" and consequently they are located not only in the shops and at the checkpoint, but also in office premises and even at the entrance to the General Director's waiting room. It is impossible not to notice them. After having seen the posters in the Human Resources Department, the person who comes to find a job can understand at once, what standards of behaviour are welcomed at Empils, and what are not — says Gennady Gordeev.
A series of 10 posters is published in the newspaper, and also the opinions of experts who claim that consciousness of the person is flexible and graphic propaganda is capable to influence the person's behaviour significantly are published there. Also the experts note that corporate posters can refresh the company climate, improve visual culture and create an atmosphere favorable for work.
