OREANDA-NEWS. On July 08, 2008 II secretary of Embassy of the Republic of India in Tashkent Mr. K.D.Deval have visited the National TV and Radio Company of Uzbekistan, reported the press-centre of National TV and Radio Company of Uzbekistan

At the meeting with workers of NTRC of Uzbekistan took place the exchange of opinions on cooperation between Uzbekistan and India in cultural sphere, in particular, in the field of TV and broadcasting.

During conversation the sights have expressed satisfaction of condition of mutually advantageous cooperation in the field of TV and radio broadcasting and have agreed to promote the further development and strengthening of cooperation in sphere of mutual exchange of TV programs and films. In particular, the parties have considered the problem assignment to the National TV and Radio Company of Uzbekistan several TV programs of the State broadcasting company of India "Durdarshan" for the further showing them on TV channels.

In turn NTRC of Uzbekistan has expressed readiness to give to the Indian party some television films of our own production for showing on the state TV channels of India.
