OREANDA-NEWS. On 09 July 2008 was announced, that pursuant to OJSC VolgaTelecom General Director’s order Igor Volfson is appointed deputy to the General Director of the joint-stock company – director of regional subsidiary in Mordovia Republic; earlier he held the office of the first deputy of the regional subsidiary’s director – chief engineer of VolgaTelecom’s regional subsidiary in Udmurtia Republic. Igor Volfson has taken the office since July 3, 2008.

Igor A. Volfson was born in 1967. In 1991 he graduated from Mordovia state university after Ogarev in specialty “Industrial electronics”. He is in telecommunications industry since 1995, when he started to work as an engineer at Saransk urban telephone network of OJSC Svyazinform of Mordovia (at present – VolgaTelecom’s regional subsidiary in Mordovia Republic). In 2005 he was appointed deputy to chief engineer of regional subsidiary in Mordovia Republic, and in 2007-2008 he was working in VolgaTelecom’s regional subsidiary in Udmurtia Republic.

The decision of Igor Volfson appointment was agreed upon by VolgaTelecom’s Board of directors.

Igor Volfson replaced Ivan Shubin as deputy to the General Director of the joint-stock company – director of VolgaTelecom's regional subsidiary in Mordovia Republic. Ivan Shubin holds the office of counsellor to the regional subsidiary’s director.
