OREANDA-NEWS. July 9, 2008. KAMAZ-Metallurgy Plc. has started SAP ERP system realization work. The Project is planned for 2,5 years. The result of system implementation shall be full automation of all the key business processes of the enterprise thanks to application of integrated modules: sale, supply, finances, controlling. They will accumulate the information about all the stages of the company key processes, from customer’s order to payment for delivered products. The data will be interrelated and available in real-time mode. It will permit to speed up information rate, ensure its authenticity and it will have a positive influence upon efficiency of administrative decision making and consistency of plant departments acts.

The project participants are planning to complete the first phase of the project until the end of the year. Upon fulfillment of Commissioning phase the users of centralized departments of foundry and forge plants will start working in new ERP system at the beginning of 2009.

The second phase will include updating of business processes and their integration into parent company systems and processes.

IBS specialists are invited as system implementation advisers. IT-specialists use advanced methods to introduce system at metallurgical companies.

According to Andrei Usachev, ICT Department Director, implementation of unified Manufacturing Execution System will be like a revolution. Infomedia of foundry and forge plant will be completely modernized. All these changes are promised to become guaranty to raise company’s competitive capacity.
