OREANDA-NEWS. July 08, 2008. This year the JV Sarbast Plus, a manufacturer of low-alcohol drinks is to receive over 15 ml euro of investments including for launching of the licensed production of Baltika Brewing Company’s drinks.

President of OSC Baltika Brewing Company, Anton Artemyev stated that the means will go for modernization of the company’s production lines improving the quality of product and launching production of new beers.

A. Artemyev says that the company’s choice is not occasional. The Sarbast Plus has new and up-to-date production technologies capable to meet the world brewery standards and developed legal framework and Uzbekistan’s high potential of economic development make the country’s market more attractive.

According to A. Artemyev, the Russian brewing company gave Sarbast Plust the exclusive right for trademarks, production technologies of new beers, and for sale and distribution of new brand across Uzbekistan.

The JV Sarbast Plus was launched last autumn and was supplied with highly technological equipment of such worldwide known manufacturers as KHS (Germany), Alfa Laval (Belgium), GEA Grasso (Holland) and Loos (Germany). Its capacity is 100 ml hectoliters or 200 ml of 0.5 liter bottles a year.
