At the Government’s House in Astana in the presence of the Kazakhstan’s Prime Minister Karim Massimov an MoU was signed between the Kazakh Ministry of Tourism and Sports (Minister Temirkhan Dosmukhambetov) and Eighth Wonder International Limited Сегодня (its CEO Mark Advent) to constrict an international tourist stretch on the shores of Kapshagai Lake in Almaty oblast.

The stretch is expected to accommodate a number of hotels, golf courses, conference halls, SPAs, restaurants, entertainment, retailing and sports facilities.

Construction of the tourism center offering service in line with international standards will boost internal and inbound tourist flows. Construction works are to be carried in three stages.

Besides, to raise national catering specialists, Alain Ducasse Cooking School will be established in Astana.

Eighth Wonder International Limited has a wide experience of constructing international multi-function hotels and entertainment facilities.

At the initial stage, the company will invest over USD 3 billion.
