OREANDA-NEWS. July 8, 2008. The Azerbaijan-Hungary business forum was organized by the Ministry of Economic Development of Azerbaijan and AZPROMO. The event was held within the visit of the Prime Minister of Hungary Mr. Ferenc Gyurcsany to Azerbaijan.

Among the officials representatives of 10 companies in construction, pharmacy, IT, finance and etc sectors included the Hungarian delegation.

The event started with the opening speech of the Minister of Economic Development of Azerbaijan Mr. Heydar Babayev. Minister mentioned some important figures of the socio-economic situation in Azerbaijan for 2007. Prime Minister of Hungary Mr. Ferenc Gyurcsany talked about economic relations between Azerbaijan and Hungary.

Director of the Trade and Invesment Agency of Hungary Mr. Gyorgi Rosta and Investment Promotion Director of AZPROMO Mr. Anar Guliyev presented investment climate and business opportunities of two countries.

Bilateral business meetings between businessmen of Azerbaijan and Hungary were held after the official part of the event.
