OREANDA-NEWS. On 08 July 2008 was announced, that the presentation of new educational building of Kazakh Humanitarian Law University took place in Astana.

The chairman of the president's administration Kayrat Kelimbetov, the Minister of Education and Sciences Zhanseit Tuymebayev, Astana akim Imangali Tasmagambetov, and Kazakh State Law University rector Maksut Narikbayev took part in the ceremony.

During the event the leader of the state familiarized with the museum of the University, information book-selling center of publishing house of St. Petersburg State University, and a number of lecture halls. N. Nazarbayev also visited the Center of Islamic Economy and Law, and the Center of European Law.

The beginning of construction of the new educational building of Kazakh State Law University - June, 2006. Total cost of the project - 4 billion 300 million KZT. This scientific-educational complex will have more than 400 lecture halls for 5 thousand students, sports hall, various section departments, lecture halls, 15 computer classes, 6 linguaphone classes and a library.

Kazakh State Law University was formed by the decree of the president in 1994.
