Tatneft Received PEGAZ
OREANDA-NEWS. July 04, 2008. The XIVth journalistic international contest PEGAZ-2007 (Petroleum, Energy, and Gas) was held at the Central House of Scientists of the Russian Academy of Sciences for the nomination "Best publication on the fuel and energy complex problems of Russia in 2007", reported the press-centre of Tatneft.
According to the decision of the expert commission the team of the corporate OAO Tatneft newspaper Neftyanye Vesti (Petroleum News) received two awards: "Gold-Wing Pegaz", the highest award of the contest, and the First prize of the contest in the nomination "Prize to the teams of newspapers and magazines." The prize in the same nomination was also awarded to the editing team of the corporate magazine of Tatneft named "Oil and Life". The prize in the nomination "Prize to the staff of the press service organization of the fuel and energy complex" was awarded to the press service of OAO Tatneft ".
The TV Group "Time of Tatneft" was awarded the prize" For the transmission cycle on television". Emilia Khabibullina was awarded a diploma "For the best coverage of a problem faced by the business or the organization of the fuel and energy complex (Neftyanye Vesti).
As the organizers indicate the aim pursued by this competition is using the media to attract attention of the general public, political, public and business structures to the problems of developing the fuel and energy complex of Russia, enhancing the competence of journalists in covering the activities of the fuel and energy complex branches and consolidation of journalists throughout the post-Soviet area.
All branches of the fuel and energy complex have been represented in the contest and it has been arranged in 12 nominations.
The geography of applications filed with the jury accounted for 50 regions this year's (79 cities) in Russia. Additionally there were also journalists participating from the Republic of Azerbaijan, Republic of Belarus and the Ukraine.
The competition has been arranged by all Russia Public Academy of power and energy journalism with participation of the Ministry of Industry and Energy of the Russian Federation, Federal Agency for Energy, Federal Agency for Nuclear Energy, National Association of Broadcasters, OAO Tatneft, OAO Gazprom, OAO Zarubezhneft and others.
