OREANDA-NEWS. On July 04, 2008 S7 Airlines, the largest Russian carrier by the number of transported passengers on domestic routes, announced the commencement of issue of electronic tickets (е-ticket) on six routes: Bishkek (Kyrgystan), Dubai (UAE), Erevan (Armenia), Podgoritsa (Montenegro), Simferopol (Ukraine) and Chita (Russia), reported the press-centre of S7 Airlines.

S7 Airlines continues the development of electronic ticket sales and opens sales of e-tickets on new directions in the S7 Airlines route network: from the middle of June at the International airports in Bishkek and Podgoritsa, as also at the airport in Chita, from 1 July 2008 at the International airports in Erevan and Simferopol.

Sales of electronic ticket is open on regular S7 Airlines flights from Dubai airport. Flights with electronic tickets will commence on this route beginning 2nd September 2008.

Primarily, the electronic ticket technology is convenient for passengers, who purchase the tickets at the airline’s website www.s7.ru, since it is not necessary to get tickets at the counters. It is sufficient to simply print the route receipt, which the passenger receives in his email, and register it at the airport using only his passport. Issue and sales of electronic tickets can also be done at S7 Airlines sales offices.

At present electronic tickets on S7 Airlines are valid in 33 Russian and 28 foreign cities.
