OREANDA-NEWS. On 07 July 2008 was announced, that the Financial Times has listed CenterTelecom OJSC among the 100 largest companies of Eastern Europe, ranking it 96th, based on market capitalization.

In preparation of its international and regional rankings, the FT used data as of March 31st, 2008 (in US dollars). Companies with at least 15% of their shares in circulation were included. Companies whose principal owners (state, family or other types of owners) leave less than 15% to outside investors and organizations which became an object of takeover by other companies were not included into the rating.

The FT league table of the largest international companies reflects changes last year in the global corporate sector and also illustrates the situation in various countries and sectors which were more attractive for investors.
