OREANDA-NEWS. July 7, 2008. The experts of the Technical Dept of the Vietnamese Navy headed by the Chief of Dept Nguen Van Ninem finished the inspection and acceptance of the fulfilled works on the first project 11661К "Gepard-3.9" frigate built by the shipyard for Vietnam. Signing of the package, in particular, the working report and the acceptance act, took place 10 days before the terms provided by the general construction schedule.

The event was attended by deputy chief of naval dept of ROE V.Komarov, first deputy general director of AK Bars and the chairman of the board of Zelenodolsky shipyard S.Muhin, general director of Zelenodolsky shipyard S.Ilin, general designer L.Sharapov and other high ranking Russian and Vietnamese officials. By the moment of signing the documents formation of the ship’s hull and its superstructures was finished. Nguen Van Ninem underlined excellent performance of the works and thanked the management and experts of the Russian shipyard for a responsible approach and strict adherence to the terms of building.
