OREANDA-NEWS. July 03, 2008. As many as 20 objects of power transmission lines and substations will be constructed to the European Football Championship finals in Kyiv, as reported with reference to the JSC KyivEnerho.

In particular, a construction is planned of 110/10 kilowatt electric substations, such as European, Olympic, University, Olenivska, Slavutych, Korchevatska, Bortnychi, and 110/35/10 kilowatt substations Postvolynska and Lukyanivska, reconstruction of the Moskovska substation will take place, as well as construction of 100 kilowatt cable and air lines.

Total value of works exceeds UAH 2,7 billion, including UAH 347,4 million will be spent at the expense of the State Budget, UAH 264,2 million - from the local budget and UAH 2,136.3 million will be the funds of the JSC KyivEnerho.

For implementation of such a project the JSC KyivEnerho envisages to attract long-term credit resources of international financial establishments, and their return will be made at the expense of a gradual including of project costs to electric energy tariffs over a continuous period. In this case, development of the capital's energy complex will not actually affect tariffs for electric power transmission.
