Resin Received Award for Contribution to Science
OREANDA-NEWS. On 04 July 2008 was announced, that Vladimir Resin, first deputy Moscow City Mayor, head of Moscow’s Construction Complex, was honoured with the highest award in the sphere of scientific achievements – the order For the Contribution to Science instituted by International Academy of Philanthropy and International Academy of Social Sciences.
A grand ceremony timed to this was held in Moscow City Hall on July 2. Mr Resin was awarded by Oleg Oleynik, president of International Academy of Social Sciences, and Yury Kovelenov, vice-president of International Academy of Philanthropy.
Mr Kovelenov noted in his congratulatory speech that the awarding the order For the Contribution to Science to Mr Resin was a just appreciation of the contribution to the development of Moscow. “Due to your scientific methods and extensive skills, talent and professionalism, sincere love to our capital, Moscow looks different and has a look worthy of one of the hugest megapolises in the world,” Mr Kovelenov noted.
The official expressed appreciation to the first deputy city mayor of Moscow for his active participation in the development of International Academy of Philanthropy and International Academy of Social Sciences as an honourary member of the academies.
The vice-president of International Academy of Philanthropy handed Mr Resin the book Successful Social Investments – Contribution to Russia’s Future as well as three certificates confirmed that the park complexes called Dobry Angel Mira [Kind Angel of Piece] arranged in Dedenyovo settlement in the Moscow region, in the towns Noginsk and Orenburg have the commemorative plaques with the name of the head of Moscow’s Construction Complex written in golden letters on them.
Mr Resin in turn thanked the award founders for high appreciation of the work of the whole Construction Complex of Moscow and noted that it was necessary to keep what had been done in the memory but at the same time to think of what was to be done. “Therefore I rate this award as an advance for what all of us are to have done,” the first deputy city mayor of Moscow emphasized.
Mr Resin said in conclusion: “Our main task is to introduce all scientific developments which we have into various branches of production. These developments should be introduced into construction and architecture. Now we can erect the prefabricated buildings which have a cheaper cost and a better quality.”
