UTK Announced New Services for Hi-Speed Internet Users
OREANDA-NEWS. On 04 July 2008 was announced, that within the framework of the cooperation agreement between "UTK" PJSC and " Sky Link – Krasnodar" the companies launched a pilot project on rendering converged telecom services on the basis of ADSL 2 + and CDMA 2000 1x EV-DO technologies. In June "UTK" PJSC started to subscribe Krasnodar inhabitants to the new tariff plan - "DiSeL-FLY" (wireless Internet access).
Now the inhabitants of the Krasnodar areas where it is not technically feasible to provide Internet access on the basis of ADSL and ADSL 2 + technologies, can be connected to high-speed Internet access using EV-DO technology. Subscription fee of the tariff "DiSeL-FLY" is 200 roubles, subscriber monthly fee is 500 roubles. Cost of 1Mb of traffic in excess of those included in the subscriber fee is 2.70 roubles.
Moreover, DiSeL subscribers requiring both mobile and fixed-line Internet access, can take advantage of the special offer of "UTK" PJSC that is an additional service "FLY" (wireless Internet access).This service can be connected by a RUIM-card at 210 roubles. In addition, within the framework of the cooperation agreement a 10%-discount for tariff plans "DISEL-Unlim" and "Turbo" is available for the customers who use both ADSL2 +-based Internet access services provided by "UTK" PJSC and EV-DO-based Internet access services provided by "Sky Link – Krasnodar"(tariff plans "Turbo").
The cooperation agreement between "Southern Telecommunications Company" PJSC and “Sky Link – Krasnodar” was signed at the year beginning. This agreement provides a comprehensive solution to arrange Internet access at the first stage through in-house sales points and then sales are to be performed through dealer and agent sales outlets. Longer term, the companies plan to expand bundled service options and provide joint telecom solutions based on converged services.
