OREANDA-NEWS. On June 30, 2008 Metalloinvest Management Company contributed to the memorial day dedicated to policemen perished while executing official duties, reported the press-centre of Metalloinvest.
 
From 9 till 22 June 2008 a charitable motor rally took place in Russia. Its itinerary included Moscow-Vladimir-Nijni Novgorod-Cheboksari-Kazan-Oulianovsk-Orenburg-Samara. 145 families of the perished policemen received help in the frames of this event.

The rally was coorganized by the Interregional Association of Police Services’ Veterans "Honour" and Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia . The president of the Association, Lieutenant Colonel Alexey Darkov thanked Metalloinvest for its support and stressed on the long standing ties of friendship established between the Holding and the Association.

"It is a pleasure to notice that the shareholders of such an influent enterprise do care about the problems of our country",   he mentioned.

Metalloinvest has also received a gratifying letter from the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
