OREANDA-NEWS. On July 02, 2008 Wizz Air Ukraine, a daughter structure of the Hungarian carrier Wizz Air obtained an operator's certificated from the State Aviation Administration.

According to the company's press-release, on June 27, the carrier received its first airplane, Airbus 320 (produced in 2008).

Wizz Air Ukraine expects to launch flights in July inside Ukraine, while in autumn it plans to open an international service.

In 2009, the company intends to carry more than 1 million passengers and employ about 200 workers in Ukraine.

Wizz Air Ukraine's fleet has 17 aircrafts.
