OREANDA-NEWS. On 03 July 2008 was announced, that OJSC VolgaTelecom paid off and paid accrued interest on registered interest bearing uncertified bonds of 10-У series. The total payment to the bonds holders amounted to RUR 2 993,84. The total size of 10-У series bonds yield amounted to RUR 3 810 and the yield per a bond – RUR 7,62. Partial performance of the Company’s obligation is due to nonappearance of the bonds holders to VolgaTelecom’s office to get the par value and yield on the bonds in cash (RUR 398 816,16 were not paid).

10-У series bonds of the par value of RUR 2 000 each were registered by Russia’s Federal commission for securities market on October 25, 2002; state registration number - 4-42-00137-А. The quantity of issued securities is 500 bonds. The repayment period is from April 1, 2008 to June 30, 2008.

10-У series bonds were placed within the framework of regional communication operators’ affiliation to OJSC VolgaTelecom by converting registered uncertified bonds of 12 series of OJSC “Electrosvyaz of Ulyanovsk oblast” (at present VolgaTelecom’s Ulyanovsk regional subsidiary), (state registration number 4-12-00187-А) into 10-У series bonds; the bonds were converted with 1 to 1 ratio.
