OREANDA-NEWS. On 03 July 2008 Renaissance Group, the leading high opportunity emerging markets financial group, announced the appointment of Simon Moyse as Global Communications Director.

Simon joins Renaissance from Finsbury, a leading London-based financial communications agency and brings over ten years experience of strategic communications in both the private and public sectors. He will be based in Moscow and is due to start in September 2008.

As a Partner at Finsbury Simon focused on providing strategic advice to a range of financial services and emerging market clients including Standard Chartered Bank, Fortis, Kohlberg Kravis Roberts, Royal & Sun Alliance and Basic Element. He brings strong experience of leading M&A communications including the successful bids for ABN Amro and Somerfield and a number of successful defences of the London Stock Exchange from unwanted suitors. Prior to joining Finsbury, Simon was a senior communications adviser to Chancellor Gordon Brown at the UK Treasury.
