OREANDA-NEWS. On 03 July 2008 was announced, that IJSC Ingosstrakh settled damages incurred as the result of an aircrash in Tanzania. The insured party received US\\\\$155,200 in damages. On March 23, 2005 20:05:22 IL-76-RD, a Russian cargo plane on a humanitarian flight with a crew of Airline Transport Incorporation aboard crashed near the Mwanza airport in the United Republic of Tanzania. All the eight members of the crew were killed in the aircrash.97% of the liability for insurance indemnification was reinsured by Ingosstrakh under a contract with the primary insurance company. As the result of the reinsurer’s insolvency IJSC Ingosstrakh made a direct payment to the families of the deceased crew members, thus discharging its obligations to the fullest extent.Let us remind that in April this year Ingosstrakh paid US\\\\$142,500 as its share in the compensation for the aircrash of AN12 in Iran on March 28, 2005 and almost RUR3mln under a contract with LLC SO SURGUTNEFTEGAZ of obligatory accident reinsurance for air crews in connection with two air accidents in Liberia and Congo.
