OREANDA-NEWS. July 02, 2008. Azovstal Iron & Steel Works increased production indices of steel and rolled products in June 2008: steel output made 551,4 thou. t. that is by 22,6 thou. t more than in the same period of last year, rolled products output made 511,7 thou. t. that is by 29 thou. t more than in June 2007, reported the press-centre of SCM. 

In connection with planned repairs at BF Plant, Azovstal insignificantly reduced iron output: in June 2008 it made 453,9 thou. t. that is by 12,4 thou. t less  than in the same period of last year.

In June 2007 Azovstal produced 201,6 thou. t. of bulk coke of 6% moisture that is by 2 thou. t less  than in June 2007.
